Forced Exams

A Florida college is being sued over forced vaginal exams.  Yup, that sounds as awkward as it reads.  Allegedly,  medical diagnostic students at the Valencia College were forced to submit to the examination of their sexual organs under threat of having their grades reduced or of being blacklisted by future employers.  I may not be a lawyer but this is bad.  But it gets worse:

• “A student would place a condom over the probe and then apply generous amounts of lubrication to the probe. In some cases, the student would have to sexually ‘stimulate’ plaintiffs in order to facilitate inserting the probe into plaintiffs’ vaginas,” the lawsuit alleges.
• In one instance, according to the lawsuit, one of the defendants, Barbara Ball, made inappropriate comments to a student who was undergoing a probe. “Defendant Ball’s comments can only be described as bizarre during some of these forced probing sessions,” the lawsuit states.”She allegedly approached one student … during a probing session and stated (she) was ‘sexy’ and should be an ‘escort girl’ (prostitute).”

This is insane.  I guess the school didn’t want to pay for volunteers. Where the heck are those hippie chicks and dudes when I was in med school?  They would whip off their clothes and throw their genital out there before you could squeak out, “Hi, I’m a med student”.
