I love this.
Love the Placebo Journal, but not very comprehensive. This is how urgent care facility treated one of my patients:
S: 60 yo male smoker with 1 week of coughing.
O: normal vitals with cough and wheezing.
A: Cough
Wheezing
Tobacco use
Pneumonia
P: services–influenza A and B testing, CXR (neg), nebulizer (albuterol-ipratropium), Rocephin in 1 glute, Decadron in other glue.
Meds–Combivent Respimat, codeine cough med, Levaquin, prednisone, and Welbutrin
That should do it. Got the note from them 4 weeks later.
Excellent resource, thank-you! Do you know if these treatment plans are proven by an independent self-appointed regulatory agency to improve government imposed quality standards? I sure hope so!
