Insurance Companies as Nice Guys
Now that Obamacare has mostly passed, the insurance companies will be putting on their best faces. A recent NYT article Aetna, Cigna, Humana an others have “introduced elaborate marketing campaigns to reposition themselves as consumer-friendly health care companies, not just insurance providers.” Please.
As the article states, insurance companies are generally hated. They want to fix this by “directly engaging consumers” in order to get their business and bypass the doctors. I see it all the time with letters from these idiots about my patients. They go right in the trash. So get ready for the TV, newspaper and internet ads. They will sticky and sweet and are going to want to make you puke.
See my last post regarding the lust for money and power.
I have never heard decent, intelligent informed people refer to the 1964 Civil Rights Act as the “Favor the Negro Act”,
So why refer, despicably, to the Affordable Care Act as “Obamacare”?
Can they make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear? Don’t know, but they will certainly try!
