The Dentist Plan

Here is a really nice article on how dentists have fought the right battles since 1965.  They didn’t join Medicare.  They balance bill.  And they protect their territory or scope of work.  Should we have followed?

Douglas Farrago MD

Douglas Farrago MD is a full-time practicing family doc in Forest, Va. He started Forest Direct Primary Care where he takes no insurance and bills patients a monthly fee. He is board certified in the specialty of Family Practice. He is the inventor of a product called the Knee Saver which is currently in the Baseball Hall of Fame.     Yes, but it is easier for them to turn patients away because society has deemed that dental care is not medical care.

        It works like this.

        Google the title of the article. In this case:
        “The Health PAC to Watch? Dentists”

        Google that phrase. Among the hits, you will find the Wall Street Journal link.

        online.wsj.com……..I believe is the exact website.

        Click that link, and you will get through to the full article. I believe the number of times you can click through to the same article is limited.
