Quote of the Week

There is far more danger in public than in private monopoly, for when Government goes into business it can always shift its losses to the taxpayers. Government never makes ends meet-and that is the first requisite of business.

Golly, Tom, could there be a difference between business and government? Could their purposes be different? Duh.

We’d better close down the Dept. of Defense and all fire departments right away.

I dunno. kind of like the idea of a fee for service fire dept ! pay up before we turn on the hoses ! oops. seems like they already thought of that inMississippi. or like ER triage, if it’s a bad fire we turn on the water now, but if only a stove fire you can wait 2 hours ! capitalism at it’s finest !
