Another Ridiculously Obvious Study

I love seeing studies that are so obvious it makes you cringe thinking that someone spent time doing it.   Here is one for you.   In the April 11 online issue of the journal Emerging Adulthood it was found that:

• Media use is a serious distraction for college freshmen, with a new study finding young women devote up to 12 hours daily on pursuits such as texting, posting status updates and surfing the web.  And the more time spent using media, the research suggests, the worse their academic performance.

Earth shattering.   So what they are saying is that doing too much of one thing takes away…..ummmm……….I like ice cream.
