Screen Time and Kids


This is not new news.  Once again it is felt that as kids’ screen time increases, the fatter they get.   Here are the newest studies detailed in Fox News.   I agree that sitting and watching food commercials means they are not out playing.  I just wonder if it is that simple.  In other words, not being out in the sun may be an issue.  Or, just have a basic nature deficiency could be an independent variable.  What about the EMF given off by the TV, computer, iPhones and tablets?  Does that disturb our kids’ brain biochemistry and possibly lead to obesity?  Read this article from 2008 (before iPhones) before you laugh at that.
