VA Forms
Just wanted to share a laugh with you. This from a loyal reader:
My patient resides in independent living, and brought some VA forms in to help cover the cost of his care. One of the questions read “Claimant is unable to independently attend to the wants of nature.”
My response on the form “Do not allow patient to feed the squirrels unattended”.
All forms are just CYA to put the responsibility on doctors. They should be banned.
Loved the picture. Awhile back my family took to feeding squirrels and one smart girl “Peanut” hung around for 5 years. Would eat out of the hand and loved to be petted. Came when called. Another one would run down the tree and run up my leg.
Don’t have time to direct feed them anymore but it was fun while it lasted.
Oh, I was never bit but several took my finger in their mouth by accident and never chomped down. Would immediately let go without exerting pressure. One young one tried to nurse and suckle until I laughed and told it to take the nut in the hand. Looked up, let go and took the nut. 🙂
But filling them out can be made entertaining.
