The Great Authentic Medicine Member Drive (Failure)

We are a very popular website.  I am proud of that.  Somehow, unfortunately, GoDaddy lost my list about six months ago and getting that back proved impossible.  This week I took on the task of going through all my lists of subscribers all the way back to the Placebo Journal days.  It was huge and I even paid a service to clean it of any suspicious names, etc. Yesterday I used another service to send out a pretty benign email. I could not risk GoDaddy screwing my stuff up again.  Anyway, my email basically said that if you want to sign up for authentic medicine updates then just check out our site and put in your email address as an opt-in. I promised never to email these people again and that I am not selling anything.  Our website and newsletter are free.

What happened?  Well, the other email service provider got a few spam complaints and attached the above image to the links in the email.  It is like I broke international law!  Everyone now thinks I am criminal spammer from Russia working in my mother’s basement.

So let me just say that I am sorry if I injured someone out there with my email.  If you have PTSD from it then please see your doctor.  I am not a criminal.  This site is real and is free and we are the ONLY ones talking about the broken healthcare system without kissing its ass.  Our members speak their minds and I am not afraid to post controversial material unlike some other sites that get all the media press.
