Lots of New Medical Jobs!

In the recent issue of Modern Healthcare there was an article called Hospitals still lead in healthcare job growth and it is great news for administrators.  It seems the Affordable Care Act had really cranked up hospital hiring.  Why?

A push towards quality over quantity is creating new kinds of jobs in population health and case management, Mattice said. The need for data analytics is also driving hiring for positions in health information technology, telehealth and health information management.

So, this towards “quality over quantity” has created a higher quantity of non physicians sucking off the teat of healthcare.  Brilliant.
