The VA is No Disney

The Veterans Affairs Department says it is creating a single regional framework that divides the sprawling agency into five clearly marked regions. The new framework is part of a larger reorganization that VA leaders say will bring a singular focus on customer service to an agency that serves 22 million veterans. Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald got in hot water for saying “When you go to Disney, do they measure the number of hours you wait in line? Or what’s important? What’s important is, what’s your satisfaction with the experience?” McDonald said.  Yeah, not good.  For one, people don’t literally die waiting in line at WDW.  They may get bored or go crazy but death?  No.  Second, you really need to show that the VA gives a great experience before you start making comments like that.  It’s an old rule.  GOOD, FAST and CHEAP.  You can only pick two.  Actually, is the VA good?  Fast?  Cheap?  Nope.  Welcome to government run healthcare. Any questions?
