New Year’s Day Is Just The Beginning

I want to thank all of you for following this silly blog. It has been going daily for 17 years! I am flattered and humbled by this. I count you all as my friends.

As we move into the new year I want to try and remain positive. I say this because I think 2019 might be pretty tumultuous. There is a lot of anger in this country. People are not getting along. We are a country that is getting more and more connected to technology and less and less connected to each other. We are seeing a rise in addiction and mental illness. People are unhappy and yet we have more “stuff” than ever before.

Please try to take time for yourself. Take inventory of your life and see how good you have it. “Winter is coming” as they say in Game of Thrones so be prepared because there will be a spring and summer soon thereafter. No matter how bad things get remember that you are not alone. And you are enough.
