Great News: UnitedHealthcare Raking in the Profits!
Not sure if you heard but:
UnitedHealth Group said its 2020 revenues will surpass $260 billion next year as the company prepares to unveil its business strategy Tuesday.
Already the nation’s largest health insurance company, UnitedHealth is poised to grow its top line by about 9%. UnitedHealth operates commercial, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans via its UnitedHealthcare health insurance unit and is also expanding its medical care provider business across the country under its fast-growing Optum unit.
This only means one thing…………….they are going to need to raise your rates next year. I guarantee it. Mark this date down. I will refer to it in two months or so. They will find reasons to gouge us and increase their profits some more.

Not to quibble, but revenue is not the same as earnings. The net margin was 5.7%.
Should we then not worry about their expenses like their CEO’s salary and bonus?
David: You are correct. 5.7% net margin is a reasonable return and directing one’s concern with how a company accomplishes this conflates objective criticism with political philosophy.
