Quote of the Week: Dr. Rachel Levine

“My mother requested, and my sister and I as her children complied, to move her to another location during the COVID-19 outbreak”.

Pennsylvania Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine

(In March, Levine ordered long-term care facilities in the state to continue to accept coronavirus patients who had been discharged from hospitals but unable to return to their homes, the Bucks County Courier Times reported. Of the state’s 3,806 coronavirus deaths, 2,611 had occurred in nursing homes and long-term-care facilities, according to ABC27.)

“Do as I say, not as I do!”. It’s easy to promote public policy until it’s your mother. Then, it’s different. I understand that covid positive patients discharged from hospital may need a long care term facility before returning home. I understand the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. That’s public health. But, when you are decision maker for public policy, and then you do an about face for YOUR family? You have lost your credibility. Lead from the front.

Dr Levine mother was not ill or transferred to a nursing home but was removed before becoming ill
Not the same as her reg for ECF to take positive patients
Her gender does not impact upon her other qualifications
It’s today not a generation ago

    So this circus act …

    (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/transgender-female-health-secretary-snaps-at-reporter-for-calling-her-e2-80-98sir-e2-80-99-repeatedly/ar-BB1434nb?ocid=uxbndlbing)

…was “also a professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She is also the chief of the Division of Adolescent Medicine and Eating Disorders.”

A generation ago, this mentally ill individual would have been dismissed, and not without some laughter; now “he” is given power by academia, and then the state over others’ lives. This just keeps getting funnier, and sadder.

No fiction writer could come up with anything more bizarre than this.
