Scary TV
I credit my son with this idea. Several months ago, he predicted a form of PTSD would result from our current crisis. Last night, I watched a movie on Netflix and was surprised to find my anxiety rising as a large group all hugged each other in what was supposed to be a warm conclusion. We’ll be lucky if any of us emerge from this normal.

Steve, I have noticed the same thing when watching crowd scenes. Subconsciously noting and feeling anxious that in movies and shows people aren’t physically distancing. But I also have noted me feeling this while watching the news or people at demonstrations and Trump’s rally.
Yes,there are many searching for a disease of their very own. So Funny,So Sad. Often they keep searching until they find one..
We do what we do,help how we can. Provide information, education on when they need us,when they don’t.
Just avoid inappropriate prescribing, most often a pill is not the answer. Patience, counseling ,discussion till they deal with and resolve their concerns. All this sfter a through evaluation,testing, and discussion.
They will still complain about you and on patient surveys tell everyone how terrible you are.. Most amazing..
