I remember the whole “flatten the curve” mantra. Doesn’t the first picture look like the second? Am I missing something? Why is Florida being criticized again?

Now it’s health care workers, physicians, public health types, and politicians all digging in and playing CYA because they don’t want to admit the lockdowns were a catastrophic, needless mistake.
Now they’re all working to flatten the PR curve.
I don’t get it either.
The original goal was “flatten the curve”…because we achieved that, the goal then became “eradication of the virus” which is why critics can opine
