Two DPC Docs Win Family Doctor of the Year Award by the AAFP!

Congratulations, Dr. Walsh and Purcell. Of course, they were the only ones to respond to the Shawn Martin (AAFP President) tweet. That being said, there is NO WAY the AAFP would EVER allow a DPC doctor to win this award by themselves! Can you imagine them ever celebrating someone not working within the crooked insurance system? Nope. That system is what pays the AAFP machine. The blowback by the rest of the AAFP would be too much……..actually, they would write a few letters of mildly harsh words and then just let it go like they do everything else (NP encroachment, RVU disparities with specialists, etc).

A crooked organization if there ever was one. I can’t wait until I see it shrivel up and blow away. One warning sign would be a dues increase. That’s something folks should keep an eye out for. Plus if they try and put more MOC requirements in to make the bastids more money could be another sign. I’d be the last one to know as I retired and left the group. I’m sure someone will report the above here at A.M. as soon as it happens so watch out!
