Yes, this bill has not passed yet but does it matter? The assault on our healthcare system by the AANP and their minions is NOT STOPPING!
When will we stop this madness?
When will decide that education and training matter?
When will we start to protect patients?
Absolutely the degradation of medical practice allowing unsupervised care by NP’s of something that is way the h$ll out of the scope of their experience. They should all be castrated.
I remember all the fights family docs went through in the ’90’s and ’00’s, just to keep the privileges they had. Kicked out of the ER, OR, ICU, obstetrics, neonatal. “Quality of Care” and all that. Usually what happened was the docs made lemonade out of lemons. They dropped ALL hospital “privileges” that had long since become BURDENS more than any “privilege”. I know my hospital pays out over half a million subsidizing hospitalists. The community FP’s just wanted a subsidy which would have been far less than that.
Well, that’s history.
But after all the fights with FP’s, now the nurses walk in and take far more, and hardly a peep.
I would imagine the authorization to administer radiation (fluroscopy) means the ability to do fluoro-guided procedures. Spinal injections and neurolytic procedures come to mind.
