Flu Vaccine Shortage!

It appears there is a shortage of the high dose influenza vaccine for those over 65.

Hmmm…  Could this be part of a plot to bump off Medicare recipients to save money?

Funnily enough, the chain pharmacies seem to be having very little problem getting high dose. The doctor’s offices are having a big problem. We’ve already cancelled a lot of our order since patients are going to the pharmacy because we haven’t gotten our high dose and danged if we’re going to get stuck with unused vaccine when they finally get around to shipping ours. Guess million dollar customers rate higher than thousand dollar customers. This has left a very bad taste for doing any more business with Sanofi.

Nah, it the government was serious about saving money, it would encourage smoking.

Actually, I thought the best marketing ploy to get people to take a flu shot is to announce a shortage. Then, they flock to your door to get the shot.
