*Editor’s Note: As a former wrestler in HS and college, this is for the assholes at the IOC who dropped wrestling from the Olympics starting in 2020. They decided to keep Badminton (cheaters), Bicycling (dopers), and Basketball (whiners). Wrestling is a low-cost sport with tremendous participation from around the world, even the smallest countries. The historic rise of MMA is in part due to a large base of their participants being former wrestlers. Please do what you to help protest this debacle.
An NPR sports journalist pointed out a couple of days ago that wrestling was one of the last remaining “original” Olympics events. I think there will be only one or two left when wrestling is gone.
