Silicon Valley Fails Again as the Fixer for Healthcare

Theranos was going to change the landscape of healthcare. Nope. If you haven’t seen the documentary on HBO then I highly recommend you do. It’s called The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley. They failed. A ton of others are also trying but nothing yet. I am bothered that these techies get tons of money because they claim to be smarter than the rest of us. And where is their accountability? Theranos was given $900 million to get cheaper labs. All that investment money is gone. My labs, in my DPC office, are cheaper that what Theranos was claiming!

Why doesn’t some VC throw that $900 million at creating more independent DPC docs? I guarantee it would be a major step for real FISCAL and QUALITY change in the healthcare system
