Merry Christmas: This is still a great job! by Steven Mussey MD

2015-12-01 Christmas cheesecake

Every Christmas, a particular patient makes us an amazing cheesecake.  Actually, this time of year, a lot of our patients bring in some amazing treats and gifts. But, one cheesecake has always stood out.  I decided to dedicate my weekly newspaper cartoon to her. It was printed about two weeks ago. Since then, an amazing thing happened. We are getting inundated with a variety of delicious cheesecakes from people who saw the cartoon. It is easy to focus on the negative as a physician. Sometimes, we need to step back and ponder the good part of our jobs. I cannot imagine myself doing anything else. Merry Christmas!

    Was that a sugar-free gluten-free non-dairy cheesecake?

People really are good. Wish we could find another way to show it. 201lbs and counting down.

    Have a wonderful winter,
