Quote of the Week: Ayn Rand

“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it’s yours.”

A Russian emigre and escapee from communist tyranny who understood the worth of the individual far better than the average product of modern medical training.

Doug, what a fabulous quote! Thank you!
I am going to print this and laminate and keep it on my desk.
I have already sent it to my alcoholic brother who is trying to put a life back together, unsuccessfully so far. Perhaps this will inspire him.
