Friday Funny: Not The Right Way to Use it?

This is from the Placebo Journal and is at least a decade old. The person did fine. Probably. Anyway, we had tons of interesting x-rays in our magazine which came out bimonthly.

At least this person kept the cap on. Does anyone want to know why that MAY be important?

Douglas Farrago MD

Douglas Farrago MD is a full-time practicing family doc in Forest, Va. He started Forest Direct Primary Care where he takes no insurance and bills patients a monthly fee. He is board certified in the specialty of Family Practice. He is the inventor of a product called the Knee Saver which is currently in the Baseball Hall of Fame. The Knee Saver and its knock-offs are worn by many major league baseball catchers. He is also the inventor of the CryoHelmet used by athletes for head injuries as well as migraine sufferers. Dr. Farrago is also the editor of the blog Authentic Medicine which was born out of concern about where the direction of healthcare is heading and the belief that the wrong people are in charge.     I remember fondly the Placebo Journal, still have my old copies. Share them with students of various health care types. Funny and educational.

    If there is a Hole human beings will stick something in it…
    Neat film, 1975 Man with abdominal pain.Surgeon took out bicycle chain,some fine silver spoons,dildo,yep needed batteries,
    Xray was most interesting.
    Pt did well afterwards,just liked the feeling he said.
    Human beings, so interesting,silly ,dumb,smart ,sometimes inspiring.
