Happy Father’s Day to Those Who are Both Dads and Physicians
Please take this day to reflect on what is most important in life. Helping patients is a calling. I get that. But being a father is forever and means more. Don’t let your occupation make you neglect your family. It’s not worth it.

Thanks to this posst, an old memory just resurfaced. My son, way in mid-20’s now. When he was a small kid, maybe seven or eight years old. A friend of his from elementary school, told my son, and my wife was nearby, “Your Dad can’t be a doctor, ’cause he’s a dad”. To his mind, couldn’t be both at the same time.
