Do you really want to live forever?
Periodically, we see stories about multi-billionaires spending ridiculous amounts of time trying to reverse or stop aging. Given the money being spent, there is no deficiency in the number of health professionals or con artists willing to assist with lots of care, no matter how dubious, in their attempt to make them less old.
In fact, so much time is being spent on these regimens and testing, you wonder if these people ever actually have a chance to enjoy the lives they are living right now.
I admit to a real bias when discussing this topic. For the most part, I can’t stand mega-billionaires. Okay, maybe the Space-X thing is super cool, so I’ll give Elon Musk a bit of credit.
On the other hand, there is something about reading this and feeling a sense of almost sadness. These are people who can have anything they want…except….
They can’t have immortality.
Not yet but one of these centuries we might extend life span to 150 or 200.As long as dementia, cancer and a bunch of other old person stuff is stopped. Like Females being in prime reproductive ages till they are 120 or 180. Much to learn, much to think about, how to adjust society or remake it to accept those changes, Many problems with it.And we might have and decide to stop it.Makes a more dynamic society, less chance of procrastination..
LOL,LOL…..
