The militant NPs in Texas are trying to get full practice authority in order to create more referrals and give substandard care but they also want one more stipulation:
Can you read that? They don’t want to be considered to be practicing medicine without a license. They just want to pretend they are so that hospitals and private equity firms can bill the full amount to insurers and patients and make money off them. Also, let’s not forget that this limits the NPs’ malpractice liability. It’s a perfect combination to make healthcare even worse.
