Friday Funny: Covid Vaccine
Full disclosure: I did not make this up. I highly recommend you read this from Vinay Prasad, MD, MPH. Btw, Youtube has banned him fromn talking about this and directs you to the CDC page. Even Dr. Paul Offit is saying there is no evidence for this newest vaccine. And he is the biggest enemy of anti-vaxxers ever! See this article about him. What the hell are we doing? Other countries do not have the same recommendations as our CDC. There is no evidence this newest booster works or makes the illness less or whatever. They are making sh#t up at this point. I am not being political here. We are destroying science.

Unfortunately, I think that the statement that there is no evidence that the vaccine works may be incorrect. I think the evidence exists, and it is being masked because it is extremely low and they feel like letting people know the actual protective numbers would degrade confidence in the vaccine and the vaccine process. I am highly bothered by the fact that I would ask an extremely legitimate question: what is the protective percentage of this vaccine and what is the side effect rate and the answer coming back from thought leaders and from our government, in short, is “you are a good for nothing Texan Trump loving idiot!“ Truth is I asked a scientific question and I wanted a scientific answer – but instead of giving people science, Pfizer has chosen to buy all our thought leaders and government officials. It is a better return on investment, obviously, but it is not ethical. If they said that the vaccine only helps 60% of the time, it would still be given. We all do flu shots and that’s about as protective as they are. But having our president stand up and say that the vaccine is 100% protective and if you get the vaccine you will not get Covid degrades my president and my country. I don’t happen to like either this president or the last one, but I happen to like our country, and I don’t like our leaders looking stupid. Sham protection in the name of profits is unacceptable and we need to be given actual data.
Science isn’t being destroyed. It has been destroyed. There’s no going back. It’s finished.
