The American College of Pediatricians Puts Out Statement Against Transitioning Minors
Here is the link from the American College of Pediatricians showing their review of the evidence and the statement that they are against transitioning minors. Here is their conclusion after reexamining 60 studies and also agreeing with Europe:
CONCLUSION
The mental well-being of all adolescents is critical, both for them as individuals, and for the health of the family and community. Therefore, the American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) urges parents and all health care professionals to promote and encourage prevention and treatment modalities that will assure optimal outcomes for those affected by sex/gender-identity incongruence, along with all mental illnesses.However, from this review of the literature, there is strong evidence that children and adolescents who identify as transgender have experienced significant psychological trauma leading to their gender dysphoria. Also, there is no long-term evidence that current “gender affirming” medication and surgical protocols benefit their mental well-being. High rates of suicide attempts and/or completions in those who have received “gender affirming” interventions indicate that at minimum, long term controlled trials should be conducted if these interventions are to be continued. More attention and support should be afforded to individuals seeking help in detransitioning after having made a decision during their formative adolescent years with life-long consequences, including possible sterility and loss of sexual function. Therefore, the ACPeds cannot condone the social affirmation, medical intervention, or surgical mutilation of children and adolescents identifying as transgender or gender nonconforming. Rather, intensive psychotherapy for the individual and family to determine and hopefully treat the underlying etiology of their gender incongruence should be pursued.

Only babies that need a sex change are those born with very ambiguous genitalia they can’t be turned into their chromosomal designated sex by the urologists and plastics Docs.

Shame on a society and a ton of politically corrupted doctors, their corrupt organization like the AAP, medical schools, the government, media, teachers, and idiot parents, et al that it even needed to be said.
The statement above is a statement recognizing the common sense that so many forcefully ignored.

Surgery can’t fix that. Never has and never will.
