Stop the Confusion

This is why health insurance has to change to catastrophic insurance:

Only 4% of Americans responding to a recent survey could correctly define co-insurance, copayment, deductible and out-of-pocket maximum. The survey also found an average 25 percentage point difference in the number of people who thought they could define one of the terms and those who actually could.

This garbage has to stop.  All other insurance (auto, house, etc) is catastrophic.  Let Americans have a safety net of some amount, depending on income, and let them have a tax deductible health savings account.  And watch them shop around and we will see prices drop as in any other free market system.
