What Time Is It?
Change language, and you change ideas. We can argue a lot over WHY language changed, but it sadly, stupidly did. We are now devolving from actual physicians doing infomercials for genital size enhancement to fake doctors being courted by “journalists” (whatever the hell those are now) for their political opinions.
I took this shot of my own TV, on which the talking heads were interviewing this fake doctor about … not the perils of cosmetic Ozempic use, the COIVD (non)vaccine lies, the widespread fentanyl crisis, the applicability of ADHD meds given IM for kids with surgically attached VR goggles, and certainly not the death of useful, healthy primary care.
No, the nurse-doctor / doctor nurse was being asked about the latest polling data just before the New Hampshire primary last week.
I can’t imagine any opinion less relevant, and couldn’t name a bigger fraud than the title perpetuated onscreen.
Wouldn’t you like to be a Pepper, too?
That was intended to be a reply to Pat’s comment below. Sadly, I’m old and tech-stuff is beyond my capabilities.
You got it!
An N.P. is not a doctor. Except I did date an Ob N.P. who did a thesis related to pregnancy and earned a Phd. Technically she could have been called doctor but professionally she preferred to be called by her name so people wouldn’t confuse her for an M.D. Ended up in academics. She was a very honest person and I probably could have ended up marrying her but I had to leave the area for a different training position. I looked her up online a couple of years ago not to make contact and was saddened to see she died of breast cancer but married and had three daughters. She was 6 years older than me. I would have been a widower at age 51. That would have been hard for me.
The answer is it’s 10-2-4.
