Love this!! I have found it difficult to follow HIPAA to the letter when moving about in practice. I feel like a patient should be called by name, not patient so and so. I got in trouble for asking, “Where is Mr. Smith’s chart?” I gave no info or anything…Just asked the question. It just gets ridiculous.
BAD JOKE: My physical therapist gave me a release to sign saying “This is for HIPAA”.
Sez I: “I’m here for my ankleaa, not my hipaa.”
