I continue to read about nutrition and exercise.  This area is actually my first love.   Prior to medical school, I used to work with pro athletes (mainly boxers) and then I went back to school for my Master’s in Education (Exercise Science).  Anyway, this stuff continues to be my hobby and the items listed in this article are right on target in my opinion.  That being said, the science of nutrition and exercise is very dynamic and continues to grow.  We just need to keep an open mind.   With that being said, here are the 13 items listed as nutritional lies which did not made us sick and fat (read the whole piece to understand why):

Douglas Farrago MD is a full-time practicing family doc in Forest, Va. He started Forest Direct Primary Care where he takes no insurance and bills patients a monthly fee.
