Hospitals Become Small Pharma

Here is an amazing story about the entrepreneurial spirit and it is not from a small company.  Four major US hospitals are banding together to produce a few generic drugs that the pharmaceutical companies are financially extorting with.  This, to me, is so cool.  The free market wins again (maybe) if this sets a trend.  Now we need other companies to do the same with the insurance market.   I expect that to happen in 2019 once the mandate is gone.  I predict prices for health insurance plummet just like the prices for a gallon of gas. Remember when it was over $4 a gallon?  I think the model copies will like these Health Sharing Ministries but without the religious bent.  Mark it.

Oh, I almost forgot.  We need to keep an eye on these four hospitals to see if they still gouge the patients (or other hospitals they sell it to) with their own generic drug price.  My guess?  Yup.  Mark it.
