Ridiculous Study of the Week: BMI Matters
In startling a news, a new study says that “Body Mass Index is a helpful in assessing a person’s overall health”. Wow! Shocker! This scientific stroke of genius found in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, states that there is a direct connection between high BMI and fat in driving up high blood pressure and cholesterol, along with inflammation in young people. So, there you have it. All your years of being in clinical medicine and seeing this same connection meant nothing until you were just validated by this study. You’re welcome.
