Time to stop the outrage and step up.

Passivity and inaction will get us nowhere.

Come on folks, I dropped 5 bills and I’ve seen residents make donations. Dr. Wes is the real deal.
Stop acting like lambs to slaughter and let’s get this stop MOC show on the road. Fer chrissakes,
Dr. Fisher is an EP guy, likely makes a good enough living and is only out to stop this MOC scam.
Not to scam others for his own personal gain! Let’s get this going. Doug posted the link to
their interview and if that doesn’t get one inflamed, well then, they deserve the slaughtering
that is going to continue unchecked!

Up to $100k on the PPA site. Come on people. If I had the inside on where it would be safe to advertise this and vouch for it, I’d scream it out as much as I could. I’d relish putting the thumbscrews and iron maiden on these bastids although I’d take simply stepping on their toes and getting their attention as solace. This has to start somewhere. I have a significant
David vs. Goliath story if interested. ~12,000 people took on the government and won.

I am surprised the ABIM did not make her drop trou and sit on her computer. So glad I got NBPAS board into our bylaws and told ABIM to kiss m’butt when my board status mysteriously vanished Dec 31st 2016. I didn’t think the process could get more humiliating than the near strip search at Pearson but boy was I wrong! Up yours, ABIM.

I just took a survey from ABEM where it appears they are considering moving from a q10 yr exam to a series of periodic exams. (As if we weren’t already paying to take Lifelong Self Assesment tests on a series of semi relevant literature articles every year, just for the priviledge to become eligible to take the 10 year ConCert exam…..)

I can only pray that if my board moves away from the “big” exam, they *don’t* take notes from ABIM!

When I took my last board re-cert, I was so humiliated and enraged by the treatment in the testing center, and this extortion in general, that I had to hit a bar…sweat the interim 6 weeks to see if I passed … then took my review book and assoc’d ABFM materials out to an oyster shell pile and blast them with a 12 gauge.

Hatred and loathing are not strong enough terms to describe my feelings toward the ABMS and it’s capos. Every doctor working with them is a contemptible sellout and traitor to whatever was good in medicine.

Pretty sure if you took this creepy exam naked, these termites would merely get your local state board to disappear you.

      Ha ha, Pat.

I’ve still got my Organic Chemistry textbook somewhere – in a large ZipLock bag.

After I passed Organic, I took it out back, put it up on the berm, and laid into it with .44mag hollowpoints.

Had to make sure that ghost would never rise again…

This is astoundingly intrusive & a personal violation. Does not really feel convenient at all since every 2 years, you have to clear out your personal work space & arrange several hours of uninterrupted coverage & “radio silence” with the outside world. Stupid.

Mother of All that is Holy!!!~
I am sitting here in stunned silence. STUNNED silence.
(I am in the process of binge watching The Americans right now. Series about Russian spies during the cold war in Washington DC. BEST thing I ever watched!)
And this test prep is more intrusive than when stranger “walk-ins” would enter the Soviet Embassy in Washington. The KGB wasn’t this thorough.

Oh, news story today, on another topic. Fentanyl OD cases in Ohio up 1000%.
Hmmm. I don’t think the Rxing of Fentanyl is major. I’ve never done it.
Just an example of we prescribers taking beatings from the government bureaucracy for something 99% don’t cause or contribute to.

There is NEVER, EVER personal responsibility in this country. It is always someone else’s fault. Drug abuse? Must be our fault.

I LOATHE the government at every level. LOATHE.

The video is ripe for satire. Half of the audio is hilariously sad already. It is a discussion of how you can conform to qualify as a human subservient to machines, and is eager to be complicit with obedient behavior. There is nothing in the slightest that elicits the thought of being a physician; not the moves and expressions of the actor-physician engaging in computer due diligence, or the office, or anything. It would be interesting to see the take of a non-English-speaking adult on what the video is about. It could easily be a tape on how to be the manager of a chain retail store, or a warden at a facility housing immigrant children.

Wow. They’ve found a way to humiliate you right in your own home or office.

That took a lot of work.

What do they charge for this misery, pray tell?

As an aside, I used to think doctors had offices like that when I was a kid…
