Contemptible Hospital Corporation Commits Spousal Abuse
Just a little update…
Last week I told y’all that the collectivist demands of the Church of the Blessed Mandatory Compassion were building up momentum to extort autonomy from any uncooperative holdouts. Government’s natural instinct to use force against any and all to do the “right” thing has quickly carjacked the public health van as a vehicle to leverage crony corporatism into mass coercion.
And here is the next step. Where ludicrous mass masking and self-defeating lockdowns prevented only dignity and happiness, too many of our benighted profession have been happy to support, or stand acquiescently silent as a mass thug mentality has seized upon mandated vaccination. We are well on the way to denying insurance coverage to the non-vaccinated, as demonstrated by the despicable Ochsner Health hospital system in Louisiana. Starting next year, these bullies will now require the unvaccinated spouses of employees to pay an additional $100 per pay period. Conveniently one no longer has to be a health care worker to be deprived of civil liberties – you’re on the family plan.
These despotic scumbags claim “this spousal COVID vaccine fee aims to protect our entire Ochsner team, which includes employees, their families and the communities we serve…”
But if all Ochsner employees are vaccinated (they are so forced), then what threat could their unvaccinated spouses possibly present? So this bullshit about community protection is just that…
Ochsner’s reprehensible CEO Warner Thomas followed with, “The reality is the cost of treating COVID-19, particularly for patients requiring intensive inpatient care, is expensive, and we spent more than $9 million on COVID care for those who are covered on our health plans over the last year…” For which you got extra cash, and during which you did not have to pay for a lot of elective surgeries and other claims because people were too scared to seek treatment.
So Ochsner is working to fatten their gluttonous bottom line, while virtue signaling to the watchful Feds that it is doing its part to crush dissent. It’s about power, greed, and risk aversion, and we can expect this to become the norm for evil Big insurance and Big Hospital. But we won’t kid ourselves that this now has anything to do with caring for actual people, however it’s dressed up and rationalized. The ultimate goal is to crush the individual, and our profession is complicit to the degree that we excuse or comply with this abuse.
I am not saying that it is right or wrong. But the health care system is most likely self insured. And the government will not be covering the bills for Covid admissions forever. Which means that the money will eventually be their money having to pay for Covid admissions. And Covid admissions are expensive.

that did not seem to matter Local Docs, Docs stopping to do their final year or 2 of loan pay off. All averted their eyes and left. Hospital Board,County Commissioners. All turned a blind eye. Then I and another PA MADE A PUBLIC RUCKUS. Got fired 3 times rehired 2 times,same place, could not find anothrr job in the state. Had my life threatened and of my wife/child. I called that out publicly at a board meeting in public. That stopped.
At the end of 9 months there I was all alone,living on my savings, We sold the house went away. Still took the state 2 years to shut it down,hospital got reorganized. If I had it to do over again I would. Saved a few lives.
Some mandatory Vaccinations I support. DPT ,MMR, RSV, HEP A & B, MENINGITIS, FLU.
COVID I do not. To many side effects in people ,it is child abuse to give it to any males between 13 yrs and 18.
Is noT effective 6 or 7 months after the 2nd dose.. Ivermectin is a preventative used as directed. Hydroxychloroquin, Azythromyacin, (Zithromax) Vit D, Cit C and Zinc. All helpful in multiple studies from all over the WORLD.. BUT THIS IS FORBIDDEN TO SAY.. Kiss my ass folks,do your profession proud andTREAT YOUR PATIENTS.. PROTECT LIFE,DO NOT BEND A KNEE AND SUPPORT DEATH…

While I support the mandatory vaccinations, I thoroughly agree with your article. How can you charge extra for an unvaccinated family member of a healthcare worker or even charge an unvaccinated patient needing treatment for covid and not charge extra for somebody who’s morbidly obese and never took care of themselves and ate all the hamburgers they wanted and now need cardiac treatment? You could apply this to just about every disease out there. People don’t take care of themselves and then need healthcare. So now you’ll have to fill out a 54 page history of what you’ve eaten and how you much you exercised and how your religious or philosophical beliefs caused you to not take care of your body over the course of your life and we will now bill you accordingly. Yep, it’s all about the money and the big hospital conglomerates. Whatever happened to healthcare ?
