Why We Lost Trust
I am a family doctor and have fought the brave fight over my 30 years to get kids and adults vaccinated for such things as polio, shingles, etc. Truth be told, I was pro CV 19 vaccination and got three shots myself. That being said, the so-called experts have lost my trust because of the stupid shit they have said (see image). Second, banning people who question the CV19 vaccination is not American. Third, we need to study the side effects of this vaccination as it is new. That is NOT a crime to say this. Fourth, I do believe the original CV19 vaccine attempts did help as the variants were much more deadly than the present Omicron. But we still need to segment who really needs the booster now. Kids? I am with Marty Makary, M.D. and Vinay Prasad MD, MPH on this and the answer is no. We must always weigh the benefit vs. the harm. Lastly, lying to the American people never works! The quotes in the image only build mistrust and that is a major mistake that will take decades to unwind.

Third Moderna put me on the couch for a day but I’m none the worse for wear now. Am retired so no big deal. My mentally handicapped 28 year old son I have guardianship of and live with didn’t phase him whatsoever.
What has been espoused is if one gets Covid-19 and is adequately vaccinated, it’s not a big deal if you get it. In my family, my adult daughter and sister (10 years younger than me) got Covid-19 after being fully vaccinated. They told me it was a minor discomfort and no big deal. My sister said she had a sore throat and fever that was a pain to deal with. Her doc cultured her up (strep, monospot and some viral stuff) and as an afterthought, did a Covid-19 test. Well she had Covid-19 and recovered fine with no sequelae. My daughter had an equally benign outcome. She was immunized and her immunized husband didn’t catch Covid-19 from her!
When my wife was alive, if I caught an infectious disease, I’d go sleep in another bedroom to prevent her from getting what I had. It worked. She’s been gone (deceased) 3 and a half years now so missed this Covid stuff.
I’d like to see more of the research as it comes out but I’m suspect’in if one is immunized and they get “it” it’s not so bad. More important for us oldsters as I’m a proud member of. We’ll see. Kurt Savegnago, M.D. (retired)

Get both books and you too can be as disappointed with our political, Medical and Business leaders at all levels who continue to lie…All the Medical people who DID HARM to those we were trying to Help…. Pray for a lot of them. If enough crap comes out there are going to be a lot of very Angry people out for pay back.In court or at the end of a gun..Club, Blade.. It is coming. Prepare, stay Alert and keep your Families SAFE….

I can’t abide liars and they all fit that category!!
They are nothing more than charlatans and snake oil sales people.
The damage they caused cannot be forgiven or forgotten.
They all belong in prison.
I believe that the COVID vaccine will end up being right about 60% protective – almost precisely where the flu shot lands. We can handle that. But we need forthright upfront bold honesty to get people to see the truth – reducing the disease 60% across a population is an admirable goal even if it may not protect me. We give pneumonia 23 for a 40% reduction of pneumonia.
I believe the spike protein causes the side effects, blood clots (I personally am on treatment for a DVT caused by COVID) strokes and deaths. There is a chance you will be exposed to that protein if you happen to get infected. There is a 100% chance you will be exposed if you get the shot – so statistically we have more side effects from the vaccine – doesn’t mean we should stop vaccinating it means we need to be honest with our patients about the risks and let them choose, and stop bullying people to get it, and certainly stop criminalizing dissent. That isn’t America.

The caveat I add is that this is still a longitudinally-unproven therapeutic. Full disclosure, I had to re-study a lot of the RNA/DNA/transcription/reverse stuff that I fought through in Med school and never use on a daily basis. The mRNA should NOT affect DNA, contrary to many fears.
However…
1) Pathogenic priming remains a real threat, as demonstrated with the SARS-COVID-1 vaccine trials.
2) From everything I (think I) learned in med school, having just had the virus should have negated the need for a vaccine, which our profession at large ignored.
3) The mechanism of action is that by definition, immunity is achieved via cell destruction. This should be local and self-limited – what if it isn’t? The rising adverse reaction rates suggest the autoimmune risks I feared. Whether long-term studies, if we ever have them, bear me out remains to be seen.
As is, I do not find the risk:benefit ratio to benefit anyone any longer, and recommend universally to avoid this shot.
Lost. Trust is an understatement for the medical community. I have I trust no one. The medical community tried to give my 90 year old mother that shot. She flat out refused. Children have an immune system much better than most adults. I have a dear friend who is a county coroner in another state. The things that he has seen and warned me about is an understatement. I miss having you as my physician. I’m sure Dr. Dan is a nice guy. If he hadn’t pushed and pushed and pushed, I probably would have gone and seen him. Still debating on whether to go in. It’s unfortunate. I’m not the only one that feels this way as far as the medical community goes.
There have been “things” available the entire time to assist people to get through the symptoms with greater ease. Yep, many of us have access to everything and could get anything we needed if necessary.
Friends of mine had the original variant Dec 2019 and received the CV with two boosters. One of my friends has had multiple blood clots and two strokes. They finally admitted to him it was due to the V.
Another friend got one booster she became sick disoriented for a couple days.
My sister has had all her boosters. She’s sick all the time anymore, I believe she’s had the virus approximately five times.
It’s unfortunate the government nor the medical community, as a whole, do not promote real food, and how people can take better care of themselves. Additionally, fight against the food industry poisoning people along with what the pharmaceutical companies are doing and how it’s all government fortified.
Many of us feel as though we are on our own. We cannot trust the medical community, we cannot trust the intent that’s being pushed in our faces.
Dr. Doug, you’ve always been a advocate for real health and I have appreciated everything that you post and that you discuss. And I thank you for that.
